Agreement to terms

By accessing or using LandedLife (landedlife.com and app.landedlife.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. LandedLife is operated by Ant vs Bear Ltd.

Description of service

LandedLife provides free and subscription-based tools and editorial content to help individuals research and plan relocations from the UK to other countries. Our tools include a readiness assessment, visa eligibility checker, tax comparison, cost calculator, and country comparison.

Not professional advice

LandedLife provides information and calculations based on published data. We are not a tax advisory firm, immigration consultancy, financial adviser, or legal practice. Our tools and content are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

You should always consult a qualified professional — such as a cross-border tax adviser, immigration lawyer, or financial planner — before making decisions about relocating abroad.

Accounts and subscriptions

Some features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering.

LandedLife Pro is a subscription service billed monthly (£9.99/month) or annually (£79/year). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with LandedLife Pro, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription or renewal. Refund requests should be sent to hello@landedlife.com.

Data accuracy

We make every reasonable effort to ensure our data is accurate and up to date. However, tax rates, visa requirements, and cost-of-living data change frequently. While we monitor official sources and update our data regularly, we cannot guarantee that every figure is correct at the moment you access it.

Each data point displays a source link and verification date. You should verify critical information directly with official government sources before making decisions.

Intellectual property

All content on LandedLife — including text, tools, data presentations, graphics, and software — is owned by Ant vs Bear Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use (such as printing a PDF report from your own account).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our website
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or tools
• Resell or commercially redistribute our content or tool outputs

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links to third-party services. When you click an affiliate link and use a third-party service, any transaction is between you and that third party. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LandedLife and Ant vs Bear Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services, including any decisions made based on information provided by our tools.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
